FAQ
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK MY DATE?
To reserve your date, a signed contract and retainer are required — $1,200 for Photo or Video coverage, or $2,100 for combined Photo + Video.
For engagements, elopements, and portraits, half of the total amount is due at booking, with the remaining balance due one week before the session.
DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION WEDDINGS OR TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
Absolutely! We’re based in both Denver, Colorado and Seattle, Washington, capturing stories all across CO, WA, and beyond. Whether your celebration unfolds in the mountains, by the ocean, or across the world, we’re always ready to travel wherever your love story takes us.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE FROM MY WEDDING?
The number of images depends on your day’s flow and hours of coverage. A typical 10-hour wedding includes a minimum of 700–900 images, often more.
We focus on quality over quantity — every image is carefully edited and individually refined. We don’t limit photos by pricing tiers; instead, we present every meaningful moment we capture.
DO YOU WORK FROM A SHOT LIST?
We’re happy to include any special requests and will make sure they fit naturally into your wedding timeline.
While our approach focuses on storytelling and authentic emotion rather than a checklist of poses, we always welcome your vision and ensure the moments that matter most to you are beautifully captured.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE GET TO VIEW OUR PHOTOS OR FILM?
Wedding Photos are typically delivered within 6–9 weeks, and Wedding Films within 7–10 weeks, depending on the season and project volume. Every story deserves care, and we take the time to perfect each detail before delivery.
DO YOU WATERMARK OUR PHOTOS AND FILMS?
We never watermark photos — your images are yours to fully enjoy and share.
For highlight films, a small professional watermark is included, just as you’ll see on our Films page. It’s simply to protect our work from piracy, not to restrict your use or experience.
HOW DO YOU BACK UP OUR FOOTAGE AND ENSURE NOTHING IS LOST?
We use professional equipment and always carry full backup gear. Every photo and video file is securely stored on multiple systems — with redundant backups created before anything is delivered.
We’ve been capturing weddings for over a decade and have never lost a single file. Your memories are safe with us.
WHAT IF YOU BECOME ILL?
We’re a husband-and-wife team — both hybrid shooters, fully skilled in photography and videography. We complement and support each other seamlessly.
In about 300 weddings (including during the pandemic), we’ve never missed a single one. You can rest assured your day will always be beautifully documented.
WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE, AND ARE YOU INSURED?
We shoot with professional Canon cameras and L-Series prime lenses, carrying four complete backup sets for peace of mind.
Yes — we are fully licensed and insured, covering our team, our gear, and your venue. If your venue requires proof of insurance, we’re happy to provide it anytime.
WHAT DO YOU SHAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED OR FILMED AT OUR VENUE BEFORE?HOOT WITH AND ARE YOU INSURED?
That’s a great question — and one we hear often! The truth is, great photography and cinematography are all about light and connection. A skilled storyteller can walk into any space, read the light within seconds, and craft images and films that feel timeless and full of emotion.
Light is never the same twice — it shifts with the weather, the season, and even the rhythm of the day. So whether or not we’ve worked at your venue before matters far less than our ability to adapt, create, and tell your story beautifully in any setting.
Over the years, we’ve captured hundreds of weddings across more than a hundred venues, from mountain lodges to seaside resorts. But even if your venue is new to us, we’ll approach it with the same artistry, care, and creative vision you see throughout our portfolio.
DO I NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER OR VIDEOGRAPHER?
For most weddings, the answer is no.
While it’s common in the industry to include a second photographer, I’ve captured hundreds of weddings — both large and intimate — on my own, and my couples have always been thrilled with their galleries. Working solo allows me to move seamlessly through the day, capturing moments with a natural flow and consistency — and it can also help you save on overall costs.
That said, there are situations where a second photographer can be a wonderful addition — for example, if you’re expecting more than 150 guests, getting ready in separate locations, or have an especially detailed timeline with many moving parts.
